Hello and Welcome to Guernsey Tomorrow

On this web-site you can find out how you can have your say about the future of our island.

Find out what we’ve done so far and what we’ve heard already and if you want to take part go to the Tell me about Guernsey Tomorrow section and/or the Get Involved section, where we explain further.

We hope to bring this project to the attention of the entire community and reach the widest audience possible; if you have any ideas on how we can reach out further, especially groups or organisations that would be keen to have their say, then we would be happy to hear you.

This website has been constructed in the early stages of the initiative so that you can get involved right from the start, its development will be ongoing with information and feedback added as and when we have it, so please visit us regularly or contact us if you can’t find what you’re looking for.

An Invitation from Deputy Bernard Flouquet

As Deputy Chief Minister and Chair of the Strategic Land Planning Group, it is my pleasure to invite you to take part in an island wide conversation about the sort of place you want Guernsey to be in the future.
Our island is changing and so is the world around us. There are some concerns about the impacts of further development and change on the quality of island life– its sustainability. How we respond and adapt to change will affect all aspects of our lives.

We would like you to think about the way that the island is changing. Tell us about the key issues, challenges and opportunities that are facing Guernsey currently, as well as your hopes and aspirations for Guernsey in the future. By working with you we want to find the best way forward. We are particularly keen to hear from the next generation of islanders - our young people.

This is a vitally important and worthwhile opportunity for you to share your views and opinions and we will take all of your ideas into account. We look forward to working together with you for the future of our Island home.
