Citizen’s Advice Bureau
The Citizen’s Advice Bureau on Bridge Avenue was the venue for a meeting on Monday 1st December involving 14 people. The meeting was organised around three groups.
Lists of issues under the headings of ‘Business’, ‘Community and Social’, ‘Functional’ and ‘Environmental’ were posted around the room. Each person was given 16 sticky dots. They used the dots to identify their top 4 issues under each heading. Please click on ‘Business’, ‘Community and Social’, ‘Functional’ and ‘Environmental’ to see the results from the ’Sticky Dots’ exercise.
In their groups, everyone individually jotted down the best things about being in Guernsey (The Good), the worst things (which cannot be changed) about being in Guernsey (The Bad) and the things that most spoil the island and which they would like to change (The Ugly). Please click here to see the results of the Good, Bad and Ugly exercise.
Using the results from the Sticky Dots exercise, each group was given a pack of 16 blue cards corresponding to the ‘Business’ and ‘Community and Social’ issues that had been identified as most important and a pack of 16 green cards matching the highest scoring ‘Functional’ and ‘Environmental’ issues. The groups were asked to prioritise the top 8 cards from each pack. Please click here to see the results of the Top Trumps exercise.
