Town Centre Partnership/St Peter Port Douzaine

A group of 14 people from the Town Centre Partnership and the St Peter Port Douzaine met at Moore’s Hotel to take part in a Guernsey Tomorrow workshop.

Four lists of issues were displayed under the headings of ‘Business’, ‘Community and Social’, ‘Functional’ and ‘Environmental’. Everyone used ‘sticky dots’ to choose their top 4 issues from each list. You can see the results of this ‘sticky dots’ exercise by clicking here to see the ‘Business’ list, or here to see the ‘Community and Social’ list, and here to see the ‘Functional’ list or here to see the ‘Environmental’ list.

The group members were divided between two tables and each table took part in the ‘Good, Bad and Ugly’ exercise. Click here to find out what they thought were the best things about Guernsey (the Good), the worst things about Guernsey - which cannot be changed - (the Bad) and the things which most spoil the island and they would like to change (the Ugly).

Afterwards, each table took part in the ‘Top Trumps’ card exercise. Based on the results from the ‘sticky dots’ exercise, they used cards representing each of the highest scoring issues to priorities their top 8 ‘Business + Community and Social’ issues and their top 8 ‘Functional + Environmental’ issues.
